What a Star-Studded Year!

Perhaps you follow me on Instagram, or maybe you read my last blog about all the fantastic press features I’ve had over the past few months! Well, there’s plenty more where that comes from - including a TV appearance and catwalk shows. Join me as I reminisce over some of the most exciting experiences of 2022 so far…

Graham Norton

If you follow my Instagram, you’ll have seen a few teases over the last few weeks about a hat I was making and blocking for none other than Kyle Ho. However, it wasn’t just for his brand-new AW22 collection.

The hat was actually worn by Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe when he appeared on Graham Norton’s chat show at the end of February. It really was an incredible piece, even if I do say so myself, and gained a lot of attention from both the fashion and dance world as well as lots of press names! To this day, it’s still a huge honour and something I’m pinching myself over.

Race day

This time of year is always so exciting as the events calendar is packed with races - which means hats galore! First up, we had Cheltenham Festival where American TV reporter, Christina Blacker was spotted in a gorgeously chic leopard print hat, designed and made by me. I can’t wait for the next few event

Fashion

It’s always a privilege to be asked to work with a designer on their catwalk show or a new seasonal collection so I was delighted when my hats made an appearance at The MA Show - thanks to Fan Yicheng whose wonderful new collection was showcased at Victoria House. It really was an incredible experience and a great collaboration. I also worked with the fabulous @Sekai.3 on a great collaboration during this show.

As the events calendar and racing season gets fully underway, I can’t wait to see what’s in store over the next few months! Don’t forget to give me a follow on social media to stay up to date with all the goings on.
